SKU CM1086-H · 82″ Length

Solid Urethane · Factory Primed · Made in the USA

Marcella in solid, factory-primed urethane — 16-3/8″ H × 16-1/2″ P × 23-3/8″ F × 82″ L. Lightweight enough to install alone, detailed enough to read as carved wood or plaster once painted.

Factory Primed · Interior & Exterior · Cut, Drill, Glue or Screw with Common Tools

The look of carved wood or cast plaster at the wall-to-ceiling line, at a fraction of the weight — and none of the splitting, warping, or insect damage.

Profile Dimensions

SKU Height Projection Face Length Material
CM1086-H 16-3/8″ 16-1/2″ 23-3/8″ 82″ Urethane

Height is the vertical drop on the wall; projection is the horizontal reach across the ceiling; face is the diagonal width of the profile as seen from the room.

Why Urethane

Built for the Way Rooms Are Actually Finished

Factory Primed

Arrives primed and ready for paint, gel stain, or faux finish. No sanding, no sealing, no raw-material prep before the first coat.

Interior or Exterior

Solid urethane resists moisture, insects, peeling, and splitting, so the same profile works in a dining room, a covered porch, or a bathroom.

Sharp Design Clarity

Cast from original patterns, the relief holds crisp edges and deep shadow lines that read as hand-carved once painted.

Common-Tool Installation

Cuts with a miter saw, drills, glues, and screws like softwood. One installer can handle lengths that would take two in plaster or hardwood.

Installation

Step by Step

1

Acclimate & Plan

Let the moulding rest in the room for 24 hours. Mark and snap level reference lines before cutting.

2

Cut to Fit

Miter with a fine-tooth blade on a power miter saw. Cope inside corners where the profile allows.

3

Adhesive First

Run a bead of polyurethane construction adhesive along the mating edges. Adhesive carries the load.

4

Fasten & Fill

Set finish nails or trim screws every 16″ into framing. Countersink, fill, and sand flush.

5

Caulk the Seams

Fill joints and edge lines with paintable acrylic latex caulk.

6

Paint

Top-coat with any interior or exterior paint, or gel stain over the factory primer.

Care & Handling

Store flat and supported along the full length until installed. Urethane is dimensionally stable but will take a set if left bowed over supports. Clean installed moulding with a damp cloth; avoid solvent cleaners on painted surfaces.

  1. Are marked on
  2. Are modified in any way
  3. Have been exposed to excessive sun or moisture
  4. Have sheetrock mud, primer, stain, "job site damage"
  5. Returned 60 days after invoice purchase date

To receive credit for stock products, product must be received in re-sellable condition. Custom mouldings and custom woodcarvings are not returnable under any circumstances. If returned products are received damaged due to poor repackaging, no credit will be processed. It is imperative that items are not returned in their original packaging without a thorough inspection as more fill may be needed to boxes of carvings or additional wrapping for mouldings may be necessary to prevent return shipment damage. Please call  1-800-558-0119 and speak to our Customer Service Representative to request an RGA.

*Claims for packages marked "delivered" must be filed after 5 days and before 15 days from the date the package was marked "delivered." Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed after 7 days (20 days for international) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.

Shipping rates vary by product category — see the rate table on each product page. Residential LTL deliveries require capable help to unload.
