Harmony Series
Performance Meets Design
♪
True Acoustic Performance
The True Black recycled PET felt backing absorbs sound waves, reducing echo and ambient noise. The Harmony Series is designed for spaces where acoustic quality matters — home theaters, studios, offices, open-plan living areas, and any room that suffers from hard-surface reverberation.
▬
Smokey Oak Finish
Smokey Oak veneer slats bring depth and warm, smoky wood character to any surface. The consistent oak grain and subdued tone pair easily with contemporary interiors — from raw concrete to painted millwork. The result is a surface that performs acoustically and reads beautifully at every scale.
♻
Recycled PET Backing
The acoustic backing is made from recycled plastic bottles — True Black PET felt that performs structurally, acoustically, and environmentally. The MDF core slats diffuse and dampen sound waves while the PET felt absorbs them, working together for optimal acoustic control.
⊕
Wall or Ceiling Install
Install horizontally or vertically on walls, or overhead on ceilings. Suitable for both glue and screw installation, giving contractors and DIY installers flexibility to choose the method that suits the substrate and application.
Acoustic System
How the Panel Works
Three Layers, One Result
The Harmony panel is a precisely engineered acoustic assembly. Veneer Smokey Oak slats provide the visible surface and visual diffusion. The MDF core slats diffuse and dampen sound waves internally. The recycled PET felt backing absorbs the sound energy that passes through — a balanced combination of absorption and diffusion that outperforms single-layer acoustic treatments.
Coverage Planning
Each carton covers approximately 16.41 sq ft. Divide your total wall or ceiling area by 16.41 and round up to the nearest whole carton. For rooms with strong parallel reflective surfaces, consider covering 25–40% of total surface area for meaningful acoustic improvement.

Panel Construction
Three bonded layers at 13/16″ total thickness: a wood veneer face over an MDF core, backed by 5/16″ flame-retardant polyester felt. Slat geometry is a 1-1/16″ rib with a 1/2″ channel and 1/2″ tab.
Fire & Compliance Testing
The flame-retardant polyester fiber used in these acoustic panels has passed ASTM E-84-2018 (Class A) and EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009 (Class B). Confirm the ratings required by your local code and project specification before ordering — contact us for test documentation.
Installation
Step by Step
1
Plan Your Layout
Panels align edge to edge — mark your starting line with a level. Decide on orientation: vertical slats for most walls, horizontal for a different rhythm. Both work.
2
Prep the Surface
Wall or ceiling must be clean, dry, and flat. For glue installation, drywall and plaster substrates work well. For screw installation, locate framing or use appropriate wall anchors.
3
Cut to Size
Panels can be cut to length with a fine-tooth saw. Cut from the back face to minimize tear-out on the visible surface. Measure twice — the finish is not forgiving of mis-cuts at visible edges.
4
Apply Adhesive or Screw
Glue: apply panel adhesive to the PET backing in a serpentine bead pattern. Press firmly and hold for 60 seconds. Screw: drive screws through the PET backing into framing — countersink slightly so heads sit flush.
5
Align Panels Edge to Edge
Panels are manufactured to align seamlessly side by side. Butt edges firmly together — no gap, no overlap. Check alignment with a level every 2–3 panels.
6
Ceiling Installation
For ceiling install, use construction adhesive plus temporary bracing or screw fastening until adhesive fully cures. Never rely on adhesive alone for overhead applications.
Installer Advice
Pro Tips
Start with a Level Line
The Smokey Oak finish makes any deviation from level immediately visible. Snap a chalk line and trust it — correcting a crooked run after installation is not easy.
Stagger Panel Joints
Where panels meet end-to-end, stagger the joints across rows like a brick pattern. This breaks up the visual line of the joint and makes the installation read as a continuous surface.
Coverage for Results
A single accent panel looks great but won't move the needle on room acoustics. For a meaningful reduction in echo, aim to cover at least one full wall — typically 25–40% of total room surface area.

Care & Maintenance
Dust panels lightly with a soft dry cloth or low-suction vacuum brush attachment. Avoid wet cleaning on the slats — moisture can cause the finish to lift or the wood to swell. Not suitable for high-humidity environments including bathrooms, kitchens, or covered outdoor spaces.
