Tambour is installed vertically. Panel length does not change panel count — panel count is based on wall width and the face width of the profile. Length only affects how tall the panel run can be before you seam or trim.

This is a quick planning tool for full-height walls. It assumes vertical installation and uses a simple rule:
up to 4' tall uses only 4' panels, 4–8' uses 8' panels, and up to ~12' uses one 8' + one 4' panel per vertical stack. Trim on site as needed.
