Apply NowWhite River Hardwoods is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Millwork Designer to join our team at our corporate office in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is an in-house role focused on traditional and classical interior millwork design, working closely with our extensive catalog of architectural millwork, high-relief mouldings, wood tambour panels, and acoustic slats.
The ideal candidate comes from a background in interior design or architecture, or brings extensive hands-on experience specifically in millwork design. You will be a vital bridge between our product catalog and our clients — ensuring precise technical drawings and seamless customer communication from concept to completed quote.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed CAD elevations and architectural sections for traditional and classical interior millwork projects.
- Perform accurate material takeoffs and generate comprehensive project quotes.
- Specify appropriate millwork products and architectural details based on project requirements.
- Work directly with customers, providing expert guidance and ensuring their design vision is met.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with both clients and internal teams regarding architectural specifications.
- Undertake a small amount of occasional travel for project needs or client meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, Architect, or specialized Millwork Designer.
- Strong portfolio or demonstrated expertise in traditional and classical interior millwork design.
- High proficiency in CAD software for drawing elevations and sections.
- Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong understanding of architectural principles and interior detailing.
