The Rox was an early country school in Alma, Arkansas. It was converted to a home in the mid 1950’s, by the current owners father who had been a student there. After the father’s death, the large residence went into disrepair. The son and his wife took it upon themselves with great love and excitement to make this their home. They kept the rich ambiance by updating period styles to reflect a progressive vision. Not all things old are necessarily always beautiful, but The Rox became the home it was now meant to be with White Oak paneling, heavy crowns, wide casings and baseboards, and a wonderful country kitchen. Enjoy touring this residence!
